Please note the inner weight has become loose over the years & notably 'rattles' On offer is this lovely vintage candelabra. It's in good condition overall, the remaining silver plate shines up well still - notable ware however around all border edging exposing the base copper metal as well as scuffs & scratches commensurate with age; the top of the snuffer finial has also been pushed inwards but as shown all adding to the aged charm & character of the piece. It's of traditional form, beautifully decorated with gadroon pattern border edges & rope effect branches / arms which display ever so well still. As shown it can deconstruct for easy storage - the sections simply push into one another. All three original sconces are present & also a candle snuffer / douser with attractive finial top. The base is weighted however there's a notable rattle noise from the inside when moved. Marked around the base edge for Barker Ellis, circa mid 20th century. It measures 33cm (13 inches) in outer length, by 33cm (13 inches) in overall height - 39cm (15 & 1/2 inches) including the snuffer piece. Please note candles cannot measure more than 22mm in order to fit. A lovely candelabra / candelabrum ready to be collected & enjoyed once again!
