On offer is this lovely collectible four piece tea & coffee set. The four items - teapot, coffee pot, sugar bowl & creamer / jug - are in good condition overall, the silver plating shines up well still - there are a few areas of ware around the top of the teapot (please refer to images) exposing the base nickel silver (brassy tone); one of the sugar bowl handles has been pushed in resulting in an interior dent; notable light scuffs & scratches over all four pieces too commensurate with age but as shown all adding to the aged charm & character of the set. They're of traditional Georgian influenced form, plain in design yet so elegant in appearance. They've been decorated with an attractive top border edge & both tea & coffee pots retain their original blackened handles & lid finials. All interiors are clean still - the odd darkened spec over the sugar bowl base & a number of stubborn stain marks to the pots as expected with age but still perfectly presentable. Unmarked for a maker, Sheffield produced, circa mid 20th century. To give an idea of size the teapot measures 30cm (11 & 3/4 inches) handle to spout end by 12.7cm (5 inches) & 15.2cm (6 inches) in total height to the top of the lid finial. The coffee pot measures 27cm (10 & 1/2 inches) handle to spout end by 10cm (4 inches) by 21cm (8 & 1/4 inches) in total height to the top of the lid finial.
