On offer is this charming vintage creamer / milk jug. It's in good condition overall, the silver plating shines up well still - notable ware around the tip of the spout exposing the base nickel silver (brassy tone) as well as notable light scuffs & scratches commensurate with age; there are also notable nicks & shallow dents around the top border edge & base which catch the light (notable from the inside) but as shown all adding to the aged charm & character of the piece. It's of traditional form, plain in design yet elegant in appearance. The interior area shines up well still - notable but very very faint traces of original gilding remain which make a subtle contrast to the silver plate. Supported by four lion paw feet - the casting is rather crude over them but still display well. Unmarked for a maker - the base is marked EPNS Sheffield, circa third quarter of the 20th century. It measures 14.5cm (5 & 3/4 inches) handle to spout end, by 68mm by 11.5cm (4 & 1/2 inches) in total height to the top of the handle & is ready to be collected & enjoyed once again!
