Please note it does have a notable 'wobble' when placed on a flat surface On offer is this lovely antique creamer / milk jug. It's in good condition overall, the remaining silver plate shines up well still - extensive ware all over however exposing the base nickel silver (brassy tone) as well as light scuffs & scratches commensurate with age but as shown all adding to the aged charm & character of the piece. It's of traditional form, beautifully decorated with repetitive patterns & floral sprays which display ever so well still. The handle shows a scroll design with feathered top. The inside area also shows notable loss to the silver plating. Supported by four elegant feet. Sheffield produced by Martin Hall, circa late 19th century. It measures 11.3cm (4 & 1/2 inches) handle to lip end, by 8.2cm (3 & 1/4 inches) maximum outer body width, by 15.2cm (6 inches) in overall height to the top of the handle - all outer measurements.
