This coffee mug is wheelthrown in white stoneware clay, fired to stoneware temperature. It is handpainted in royal blue underglaze, & then the detailed moon & starry night sky with ocean waves design is sgraffito carved through by hand, & finished with a clear glaze. Each piece has a unique hand-drawn pattern. Each one is an individual piece of art. All pottery in this shop is handmade by me on an electric pottery wheel, & fired in an electric kiln in my studio in western New South Wales, Australia.
