A lovely quality antique French white mtis linen sheet with an embroidered gadroon border & an embroidered monogram RM Laundered, this unusual & large white sheet measures 230 cm wide x 320 cm long. So much work has gone into this sheet that it very possibly would have been part of a wedding trousseau. The borders are embroidered all along the petal shaped edge & there are embroidered swirls , flowers & cut out designs.
