French brass candle holder from the early to mid 20th century. It has a lovely decorative leaf etched long handle & is heavy & solid. Made from brass with some signs of previous use but still useable & attractive. It is difficult to place the date without a makers mark. It is a very rustic item with marks of wax & signs of use & some tarnish on the base & underneath. Clearly a well used & a functional item for someone in the past.
