A handsome pair of side tables, likely to originate from France in the early-mid 20th C. Made from oak, these substantial & heavy tables are made in the style of Charles Dudouyt. With turning circular table tops & a "wine press" style, screw body, mounted on wooden bases. A visually striking & flexible pair of tables that work well as architectural elements, side tables or plinths. in good, used condition. The tables have general wear & a warm patination. The larger table has a large knot to the wood, & some carved out sections to the body.
