An unusual painted print, yes you read that right, a print that has been overpainted to look more like a painting. This was made by CATHOLIC EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES, New York as a reproduction of a picture from 1685. This reproduction is dated 1919. It is stunning. The muted colours & shabby, chippy finish are sublime. The three sacred hearts of Jesus, Mary & Joseph float in the heavens surrounded by Angels. There is a fair bit of chipping to the painted surface which I've tried to show in close up pictures. Please look at all the pictures. This measures 44.5 cm by 29 cm approx.
