The knobs come with a 1.25-inch screw for installation. The screws (#11 or #12's work) are very tight during installation because the wood knob is not pre-threaded. The screw hole IS PRE-DRILLED! NOT PRE-THREADING THE SCREW HOLE ENSURES THAT THE KNOB IS SECURE & TIGHT ONCE INSTALLED. We recommend using a power screwdriver to make installation easier. If you are installing our knobs on a cabinet or drawer with a previous metal or ceramic knob, the screw hole may be slightly smaller, however, a power screwdriver usually will sink the screw into our knob with minimal effort.
