A hammered copper suspended candle holder from Rros in Norway, a copper mining town for 300 years. This is beautiful piece of craftsmanship, robust & well made, both functional & beautiful, the Rros name is inscribed on the base. The candleholder stands 20.5cm (8) high, 36cm (14.25) including the suspension hook, it weighs 397 grams. 'The Rros Copper Works at Rros in Trndelag, Norway operated from 1644 to 1977. Privileges from the Crown were given in 1647, including rights to forests & water resources within a circle of diameter 90 kilometers.
