Artisan bolster pillow lumber statement cushion in a bright rainbow wave woven in gold, red, white green & yellow on red satin made from rare vintage Japanese Obi silk limited edition of 4 50 x 30cm 100% Silk Fully Cotton Lined Zip Opening Feather Pad included (UK ONLY) As a textile designer I specialise in sourcing the most amazing & rare Vintage Kimono & Obi Silks from Kyoto & Osaka, Japan & make them into limited edition collections of cushions & accessories in my London Studio. Dating from the 70's this fabulous & rare Japanese Obi belt Silk has a bold & colourful design in a wave stripe woven in gold silver red blue & yellow on emerald green silk, it reflects the light beautifully! The other side is plain tomato red satin silk from the same rare obi belt. The cushion is fully lined in cotton to protect the silk & make it more robust, with a zip opening, It includes a fat feather pad made in the UK. (Please note, if over 2kg cover only will be sent overseas due to prohibitive shipping costs, any overages will be refunded.) I feel privileged to work with these beautiful textiles & love finding these special silks. Woven by artisans from another age, it's mission is to get them out of dark cupboards & give them a new lease of life, revived & reimagined, so they can be appreciated as the works of art they truely are, back in our homes today, a unique, artisan gift for yourself or someone special.
