Description
This candle holder is made from a Banksia Pod which is a seed pod from the Banksia tree. these trees are found in Southwestern Australia. The hard wood like material has natural holes in which the seeds were kept. I carved this piece in a wood lathe which exposed the seed pod & created windows for the candle light to shine though. The base of the candle holder is solid walnut. everything is finished in spar urethane. This does include a new candle. Banksia Pod Candle Holder
