Let the Bergen shop paper luminary, inspired by the hygge traditions of Norway, Denmark, Sweden, & Iceland, bring winter magic to your home. It's a lovely way to make your holiday home instantly merry & bright. Tuck your luminary on a shelf, or gather a whole village (available in the shop) on the mantel. Either way, the gently flickering light makes everything magical & merry. DESIGN I use creamy, cold-pressed watercolor paper (acid-free & very strong) as the foundation for each piece. Then, I assemble every luminary by hand, adding layers of meticulously cut paper until every piece is, literally, ready to shine. Layers enhance their strength & durability, too. SET UP & STORAGE Your luminary will arrive fully assembled. All you need to do is pop it up & put the tabs through the slots - no glue or tape is required. Tuck in the LED tea lights included with US shipments, & sit back to enjoy its warm glow. At the end of the season, simply fold your luminary back into its little shipping box & slip it into a drawer. It hardly takes up any storage space, because no one needs more bulky stuff.
