Description
Super pair of peach tone Neo-Classical Urn vases from Fieldings, Crown Devon, Staffordshire. Each stamped on the base with the blue printed trade mark in use from c.1930, along with an impressed pattern number which appears to be X 148 6 or X 148 S. With a mottled, matte finish, lug handles & a relief moulded ridged border to the lower section, each stands approx 5.5 high & measures approx 4.75 across the widest part. Condition is good for their age with one small chip on the base rim on one & a similar rough patch on the other which appears to have occurred during the manufacturing process. There is also some staining & other scuffs & marks to the interior of both through use - please see my photos.
