With good proportions, presented here a hugely decorative, richly carved, late Victorian two door, credenza. Of English origin & crafted from English oak, the piece carries 'glorious 'rough luxe' appeal. Having rectangular moulded top, with a striking, 'swan neck, fixed back gallery. Its paneled sides having unusual 'bow' form. Comprising of two drawers, above a well proportioned, double door cupboard base. Doors opening to reveal for a single shelf. The piece comes complete with working key, & all original hardware. Condition wise, there are a few, signs of general wear, by means of knocks & dents, all of which are reflected in the pricing. We would also wish to point out that internally, there are signs of old, historic woodworm activity to the cupboard base - however, all of which, were (as a precautionary measure) fully treated, prior to our commencing work on painting.
