Vintage 1950s Hanging Mid Century Hall Mirror With Clothes Brushes Set Wooden Shield Shape Diamond Mirror Retro Homeware Christmas Gift We think the 1950s are our very favourite time - we love the Mid Century Modern furniture & homeware - not to mention those fabulous frocks! This Set is just so beautiful - it has everything - substance, style & a practical use. This is a wall hanging Mid Century Mirror with two clothes brushes. This Set has a shield-shaped base with a gorgeous wooden grain on the front. Set into the base is a diamond-shaped bevelled-edge mirror in the centre. At either side hang two clothes brushes. They too are angular-shaped with light wood tops & darker wood sides. They have nylon brushes & are marked Combros - Nylon - Made in England. The Brushes hang either side of the base on brass metal hooks & the whole thing is easily affixed to the wall with the hangers. The Set, as we've said, is a thing of beauty! The shield measures approximately 11.5 (29cm) long, 9 (24cm) wide & just over 2 (5cm) deep including the brushes. The Set is in good condition for its age - it's probaby 70 years old! There are a few marks here & there & the mirror particularly has some age-related marks (these have proved hard to photograph) - but it is still a very useful & attractive piece of Mid Century Modern homeware.
