This is a wooden gnome candle holder. Hand carved in Norway. Accommodates three 4 candles. Six of the candles are included. This gnome has a big job to do. That branch looks plenty heavy. He is crouched ever so slightly to muster up his strength. But, gnomes are generally an affable group; no need to pity him. It's just the neighborly thing to do - hoisting this branch & Illuminating the forest. Not even dripping wax could deter him. This cutie is wonderful. The branch is painted a lovely teal-over-green shade. Unexpected. The candle cups are painted red. The gnome is equally charming in his knee britches, wooden shoes & a classic red cap. His face is a mix of determination & perhaps bewilderment. Again - ever so accommodating. It is in nice vintage condition. There are a few scuffs to the edges. A few scratches to the paint. I notice some wax in each holder. There is sticker residue on the bottom. The bottom is marked: Made in Norway Hand made It measures 10.5 wide. 6.5 tall. 3 deep. The 4 candles are slightly smaller in diameter than a standard taper. I am including 6 of them to keep you well-lit. (Even without the Schnapps). They proved to be difficult to find. What fun & whimsy he'll bring to your table. I can almost promise lots of smiles. Gnomes will do that! A hand-carved christmas keepsake. (It's wood. I don't need to remind you of wood + flames do I?)
