Retro kitsch glass lantern with frosted & etched shade, comes with a red candle . Made in the 70s this has such a retro vibe ! The glass shade is etched all the way around with a floral motif so the lantern would look good in the centre of your table or on a side table perhaps. It is made from electro plated zinc & has a shiny brass finish. Total height 10 7/8 & maximum width of shade approximately 4 1/2. The candle is likely to be the original one & as you can see it has not been used. It has a diameter of 1/2 & is just over 4 long. in very good condition. The base is covered with blue felt to protect furniture. The glass shade is very good, no damage, it just has an air bubble within the glass which will have occurred when it was made. There is a dark mark inside the collar where the candle sits & a small one on the base, age related I suppose. All shown in the photos above.The candle is unused, it has some gentle dents which I think happened when it was stored during hot weather but still perfectly fine to use. It looks pretty through the glass shade. Weight 449g unwrapped.
