Extra large & ornate floor standing church candlestick holder. A highly decorative feature for any home. Made from EPNS ( stamped) silver plated brass which has worn to a pale golden colour. Standing on three lion's feet the candlestick is very stable. Floral motifs, cartouches & acanthus leaves make this a real classic. It stands 23 3/4 tall ( 65 cm ) x 7 1/4 wide base diameter. The candle cup diameter would suggest a candle of 2 1/4 diameter would be a perfect fit. Weight 1.013kg. The candle holder unscrews into three pieces which is how it will be shipped. Generally in excellent vintage condition, made we believe in the mid 20th century. There are some small dark spots from age, no damage.
