Altered art. A silver plated teaspoon altered with inks, copper wire, beads, various fibres & vintage type. The spoon is a one of a kind art object & makes a fitting love token or whimsical piece to add to an eclectic group of interesting finds. It is 5 3/4" long & has a metal loop in the top. After colouring the spoon with alcohol inks & sealing it I have embellished the spoon with various pretty beads & wire. I have added a mix of new & vintage glass & plastic beads, fibres & twisted & coiled copper wire. Then I have selected some carefully chosen words to complete the piece. This one has 'wildly dream Darling. ' & 'madly in love' on it, so a fitting love token or just a piece of whimsy ! I have coloured the spoon with two different green inks which produces interesting pools of colour where they combine & complimented this with my choice of beads, fibre & wire. Flower & leaf shaped beads suggest nature & the outdoors. It comes attached to a piece of collaged & textured paper & sealed inside a cellophane sleeve. Weight unwrapped 35g.
