Description

This heavy antique sterling silver napkin ring was made by Towle & features ornate scrolling foliate bands at the top & the bottom. The foliate bands are finished with pierced decoration. One side of the napkin ring has been hand engraved in script with the initials Klb. The napkin ring is in very good condition & has a soft, warm finish with no buffing or machine polishing. As an antique, the piece shows signs of age consisting of minor dimples & scuffs/scratches to the surface incurred over many years that do not detract from its appearance & are noted for accuracy. The piece measures approximately 1.125 tall & 1.75 in diameter. The inside carries the Towle mark along with the word STERLING & design number 108. The napkin ring is quite substantial & weighs in at 31.2 grams. This Towle silver napkin ring displays beautifully & would be a great addition to a collection of antique silver tableware.
