This tall, narrow handmade vase features glazes & textures inspired by stone formations familiar to forests. Brown, blue & gray are the predominant colors while the surfaces include a highly reflective body, like wet stone, & a satin matte gray band reminiscent of algae covered slate. It is watertight & dishwasher safe. Measurements: - 8.5 tall - 4.75 diameter Suitable for longer stemmed flowers & floral arrangements, this beautifully refined rustic vase was created in the wheel thrown ceramic tradition of high-quality brown speckled stoneware. The simple form of the vase provides the perfect canvas for the mottled brown & blue gloss glaze which covers most of the body while a free form, textured band of stoney gray with rivulets of green circle the vase just above mid point.
