Here for sale we have a lovely example of the classic Hornsea Heirloom design by John Clappison presented on a flour storage canister, complete with matching lid. This is an early example, as shown by the simple stamp on the base. Condition is overall very good, with some small chips above the design commensurate with age (see photos). The lid has been freshly sanded & reoiled, giving it that factory new finish! The underside of the lid does have a missing section of seal & the top has a minor dent to the rim.
