Here for sale we have a very rare Hornsea pottery mug with classic 'C' handle, produced to commemorate the 1350th anniversary of Pocklington Church in East Yorkshire. This piece features a classic relief design which is etched into the pottery, in the same manner that the famous John Clappison character mugs were produced. Perfect for collectors, condition is overall very good, with very little to no wear except from a line directly up from the handle on the rim. The backstamp confirms this piece was made in 1978.
