Feather green man wall plaque, garden ornament The term green man really refers to the greenery or foliage that the face emerges from. The green man's origins are mysterious to say the least but in the west he can be found in wood carvings & in churches in the stonework. One of our favourite things is to visit old churches & cathedrals & search out this pagan spirit. The Feather green man plaque is hand cast at our Sussex workshops in frost proof reconstituted stone with an aged green or sandstone colour finish. Because he is hand made & finished colours may vary slightly from those shown, but that makes him individual. He will continue to age gracefully if exposed to the elements. Strong plastic coated wire hook for hanging.
