Rare & unique antique hand held chamberstick candle holder. Never came across one like this before... This one has a white porcelain insert candle holder, which can be take out for cleaning. The end holds a rest for a package of matches. Likely the black is the original color though is seems to be re-painted (in black as well). This is not done very well, however it does add a bit of character to the piece. Estimated early 1900s. Condition: Re-painted, shabby look & feel, No damage. Traces of polish and/or wax may occur.
