Description
This beautiful old desk was a challenge . Originally a leather top panel it was past saving . I removed it & cleaned it using Cornish milk paint bio clean ( all natural no nastys ) . I then sanded it & it came up lovely . I topped with Osmo to bring out the grain & protect it . Next I moved to the base . I decided on an ombre effect using Dixie Belle paints in bunker hill blue , the gulf & pure ocean . I distressed a little to tie the top with the base . Topped with soft wax . It's a large piece & perfect if working from home . Would also work as a hall table or a dressing table .
