Description
This cute set of drawers from the 1920's/30s got a colourful update & brought forward in time a little to the 1950's . I've been wanting to try this style of painting for a while so when I got my hands on her off I went . I used all Annie Sloan paints for this makeover as they are perfect for the retro vibe I needed . Once I painted the main picture I decided to go for Provence for the body . It's as close as I could find to the retro blue I wanted . I sanded back the top & the added new handles . The originals are Art Deco & just didn't work . The whole piece has been coated with Osmo in a satin finish . The drawers are lined with paper made in Sweden so I've left it as it works well with overall look . It's a totally unique one if a kind piece & I have signed it inside the top drawer . I hope you like her as much as I did creating her .
