Beautiful interpretation of the natural beauty of the Dragonfly. Totally handmade from raw materials, which include wire, brass, lead solder, steel & glass. The stalk is made from steel, which rusts naturally, whilst the main Dragonfly is brass & lead solder. The wire-work wings are made with tinned copper wire & lead solder, which will age to a beautiful patina. The Dragonfly is a beautiful addition for your garden in all weathers & the mounting stalk will allow it to bob gently in the breeze. Each item takes around 2 weeks to make, so please bear this in mind when ordering, though we will do our best to have at least one in stock to avoid our customers waiting too long. The stalk can be pushed into the ground, or we recommend it to be drilled into wood on raised beds, or at the side of a pond, which enhances the piece as it bends in the wind. The stalk measures 1m. Dragonfly dimensions are approx 260mm dia from head to the tip of the tail, with a wing span of 420mm. Each is individually designed & we will do our best to describe each item as closely as possible. The Dragonfly will arrive in two packages & the body needs to be attached to the stalk, simply screw it on. The stalk can then be gently bent in to mimic flight. Wire-Work Dragonfly Garden Ornament
