Antique Aesthetic Movement (early 1890s) Wedgwood Avon with green insets covered vegetable serving bowl made in England. Very hard to find, this bowl & lid are in FAIR! condition. The bowl has a hairline to the inside center which extends through to the reverse,l a fleabite to the rim & spots of browning through the glaze here & there. The lid has a small nick to the floral pull & a few small smudge marks to the white ironstone. The green insets & florals are bright & vivid with NO! fading apparent. Pieces show age-appropriate crazing on all sides. Approximate measurements: Bowl measures 9 handle to handle with a 6 diameter bowl & a depth of 3 (NOT including the foot or lid).
