At the buzzer of Eastern Conference semifinal Game 6 between the Atlanta Hawks & the Wizards, Pierce fired a three that, if it counted, would have sent the two teams to overtime & sunk it. But, unfortunately for the Wizards, the basket was waved off. Upon closer inspection, Pierce's hand was still touching the basketball when the red light came on. Buzzzer Beaters decided to keep it as it is memorable.
