This is a fine candlestick made of natural horn, which I believe to be that from a buffalo. It has ornate silver overlay - a lot of the silver shows a lot of rubbing to the design which indicates it's age. Lovely to see. The design is in triangular form with incised/repousse work & individual silver studs adorn the piece It has an open 'bowl' at the top with a spoke. Very good condition Measures 8 inches in height Diameter of base is 2.5 inches The silver is probably 800 grade silver NB: I send all my items by recorded delivery.
