This very attractive creamer & covered sugar set from Italy has a design in relief all around of Cherubs frolicking among greenery & a multitude of colors of flowers & other plants. Both pieces are three footed. The flora on the piece is a variety of blue, red, brown & a variety of green shades. There is gold trim throughout the all the pieces. Both pieces have ornate handles & legs. On the bottom of both pieces is the makers mark, with the name R.Capodimonte. The two pieces are numbered & part of a matched set, that originally included a full tea set, which, unfortunately, we do not have. But these two pieces are quite beautiful on their own, & provide for a great discussion piece on the tea table. The sugar stands 4 1/2 inches tall with the lid on, & it's bowl is 3 3/4 inches in diameter, 6 inches across at the handles. The creamer is 3 1/8 inches tall & is 4 inches from handle to tip of spout. Both pieces are in excellent condition, not showing any wear.
