This listing is for ONE antique french large gilded bronze & brass tole 19th century church altar candle holder. The base is made of a brass tole which was done in repouss technique & features the Holy Virgin & Child, Christ bearing the Cross, & Joseph holding the branches of lilies on each side. These are made for a larger candle that has a hole of 1-2 cm at the center bottom. CONDITION : in antique condition with appropriate signs of age & wear. The candle points at the top have dents & remaining candlewax. Presence of verdigris on the brass tole bases.
