This smart deep round vegetable bowl with lid, is part of a very extensive dinner service - there are dinner plates, pasta bowls & several large serving dishes all in the same series 1920's Art Nouveau style, th design is 'Lima Rouge' from the Salins faencerie. The decor is Bordeaux red borders with a gold transferware design : very 1920's, very haute couture chic. This wonderfully large & practical bowl is in very good vintage condition, just a few signs of use on the inside.
