Antique Victorian Brass Candlestick Holders Pair of Extra Large Solid Brass Candle Holder Set, 11.5 Tall, Circa 1890's Queen of Diamonds, made in England. Stunning Antique Pair of Large English brass ''Queen of Diamonds'' Candlesticks, With their notable Diamond faceted column details, these are the Queens of this historic Series highly sought after beehive & diamond shaped column & square stepped base. Designed by James Clew & Sons of Birmingham, the Diamond series of candlesticks to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria in 1897. This pair are from the famous diamond candlestick series that have been collected for generations, & include the princess, queen, prince, king & ace. This pair do have their push ups although they are held steadfast in place by candle wax. This elegantly shaped Solid Brass Candle Holder Set is absolutely stunning & massive. Impressive with just the right amount of patina, brass colour & shine. Beautiful Vintage Victorian era specimens. They fit regular taper candles. A timeless touch for the Dining table. A stunning addition to a mantle or table centrepiece. DIMENSIONS: H 11.5 x W 4.25 x D 4.25 DETAILS: in overall good, used estate condition as pictured. Normal surface wear & signs of expected wear consistent with age. The push ups are still there but are likely ''waxed'' in place, I have not attempted to move them, as they work perfectly well as candle holders without using the pushers of course. They have tin foil tucked into their cups from their previous user & I have left everything as found, as that is a perfect solution for ease of use. Can be polished or left as is with lovely patina. General, wear consistent with age & use. A small dent on the one on the right, pointed out in pic, but overall so impressive & priced to sell.
