At Coach House Creations we make unique & innovative pieces from retired Scotch whisky & red wine barrels. Many of our items have been part of the Scotch whisky industry for decades & possess all the characteristics & charm which capture their fabulous past, not least of all that sumptuous whisky aroma engrained deep within the oak. If you are looking for something special, with a story to match, then look no further... A large 30 inch unique & characterful shelf, made from a retired Macallan single malt Scotch whisky barrel lid. This wonderful shelf is something you will not find on the High Street. It has been hand crafted & oozes character & rustic appeal. It has two shelves; a larger shelf which holds 7-8 bottles & a smaller shelf for whisky tumbler & flight glasses (up to a height of 12.5 cm). Each shelf has a Scotch whisky stave across it, adding extra charm as well as being a bottle stop. This barrel lid would have once been part of a huge Macallan whisky barrel. It has been exposed to decades old single malt Scotch whisky. The barrel lid has the abbreviated 'MAC' markings on it, a wonderful authentic feature which also provides provenance. Macallan is a prestigious single malt brand & boasts some of the most expensive single malts in the world. The tones & patterns within this solid oak shelf are simply beautiful. The aged oak is brimming with character. - ready to hang. Two recessed key plates fitted to rear. - strengthened & braced at rear.
