Description
A beautiful handmade Bitossi (Italian) pottery candle holder. The shape & decor were designed by Aldo Londi - circa 1960s vintage. The Rimini Red is harder to find than the Rimini Blu. The candle holder has glossy rich solid red colour with typical Bitossi indented patterns. It is hand signed to the base '735 Italy'. Very good condition for the age. There are a few tiny flakes of missing glaze on the outer rim, as is common with these pieces, the biggest is a small 2mm (shown). 7.3cm tall x 13cm wide.
