A beautiful handmade Studio Pottery candle holder, very much in a Mid Century Bitossi style, shape & finish. Unknown maker & unknown vintage (unmarked but probably British). Externally it's raw natural rough clay (wheel thrown) with some blackened indented areas. Internally it's contrasting glossy brown black. Designed to hold a chunkier tapered dinner candle - inner hole is about 2.7cm wide - or could hold a pillar or tealight candle. Excellent condition. 9cm tall x 12.5cm wide.
