Description
A great example of a 1950s Pyrex JAJ Daisy shallow casserole dish, or space saver. Design no 2161, a shallow rectangular Casserole. It's black print on pale yellow, on white/opal Pyrex glass. Yellow Daisy was made for a short time from just 1958-59 & was part of the Gaiety range. Casserole dish is 29cm long x 17cm wide x 4.5cm tall. Stamped underneath a handle with '2161'. It has Pyrex Tableware writing & crown logo on the base (a late 1950s logo). It's the 2.5 pint Shallow Oblong Casserole - a hard to find item. in very good condition for age & era with no chips. Some small cooked-in marks, mostly around the rim, & some small scratches externally, mostly on the lower corners. Any flaws just mentioned for accuracy - it's in pretty decent condition & will clean up even better. I've photographed both sides & every daisy for you to inspect. Collectable & displayable example.
