This stylish brass trinket bowl is just the thing for keeping your important little things in a safe place, whilst also keeping your bedside table or dresser looking great. A timeless piece, this tray would look just as good in a boho boudoir as it would as part of a minimalist vignette. The bowl is made of hammered brass, with a high, gleaming shine. The dish is of an elliptical shape, with a rounded dish & tapered, raised ends. The base has three small feet to raise it up. The surface of the tray is stamped all over with tiny stars, making is a great decorative choice for Christmas. It would work was as a holder for a tea-light candle, or for festive incense. As well as functioning as a trinket tray for holding rings, earrings & loose coins, this tray is also ideally-shaped to work as an ashtray. Measurements... Length: approx 18.5cm Width: approx 7cm Height: approx 5cm The dish is very good vintage condition, with no notable signs of age (please see photos). The Atomic style of the dish suggests that the dish was formed circa 1950-1960, although no maker's details are present on this piece.
