Scandi - Dansk Designs, nickel plated spiral candle holder. Spiral candle holder by Dansk Designs (see mark on base) with equally spaced holes to house twelve slim taper candles (I have used church beeswax candles in the photos). . Marked EPZ (electro-plated zinc) on the base, it is nickel plated. Makes a great table centre piece. Produced by Dansk Designs & manufactured in China (Dansk also had them manufactured in Japan & France). Designed by Bertil Vallien, who worked for Dansk in the period 1960-63, after which he went to Kosta Boda. Dansk Designs became Dansk International Designs, 1974 so this candle holder was manufactured prior to that. This candle holder is a great design & wonderfully aesthetic. Excellent pre-loved condition with a few light surface marks commensurate with it's age & use. Dimensions (approx): 13cm high x 12cm across base, 13cm wide overall. Weight 985g.
