This uniquely designed candle holder holds the candle within its base, & is spring loaded to push the candle upwards as it burns. The Gaslight Lamp has a beautiful, brass finish (not a solid brass piece) with a ribbed, straight-edge lamp shade that creates a soft glow with a striped pattern on your wall & surrounding surfaces. The candles that go inside the Gaslight Candle Lamp are smooth sided utility candles, also made available by Partylite in the late 1990's & early 2000's, of which I will include two with your purchase, so you are ready to use your new piece as soon as it arrives to you. Dating back to 1995, this Gaslight Candle Lamp is in very good condition, including all of its parts, including the brass spring cap that pushes the candle upwards, which is often missing in these vintage lamps. The Gaslight Candle Lamp stands 14 tall with the glass shade on top & measures 4 across its base. The glass lamp shade measures 4 tall & 6-3/4 across its widest point.
