Absolutely stunning modernist candle holder, made out of solid brass, in excellent condition & weighing over 2 kg. This is a real eyecatcher on your Mcm sideboard or table. Made in Western Germany by Horst Dalbeck in the sixties, & completely solid metal, hence the enormous weight, so it is not open at the base. It just has a piece of felt to it, so save your furniture. This item has not been gilded, it is this color all the way through! Size 18,2 cm high, just over 7 inches, wide 22,5 cm, almost 9 inches. Weight 2050 gr. Excellent vintage condition. This item may have been lacquered in the past, hence the shine that is still there. Where the lacquer has come off, the shine may be a bit less, as the brass will get patinated there.
