We love these pretty glasses. We found them at our favourite rural auction here in Hampshire recently. The glasses were made for Appletiser, the sparkling apple juice drink. The refreshing drink originated in The Elgin Valley on the Western Cape in South Africa in 1966. It was introduced in the UK in 1982. These handy glasses feature the drink's name & logo on the side. They have a slender baluster shaped body & a nice heavy bulbous foot. The nucleation point in the base of the glass is in the shape of an apple, the rough surface of the point keeps bubbles appearing in the drink. The glasses were found at the auction in their original packaging so are in superb condition. They measure 6.5 in height x 2.75 in diameter at the widest part. They will be wrapped & packaged in recyclable materials including 100% biodegradable bubble wrap. We always combine shipping when weight allows & refund overages on overseas orders.
