May I introduce to you my limited edition 'Christmas' themed fairy doors! A whimsical festive take on my regular fairy doors. The door is handcrafted from Welsh Oak & finished with a door handle; hinges, a key hanging on the door frame, a Christmas wreath, pair of red wellies & snow!! Please be aware that the door itself does not open. The back of the door is flat, so it will sit flush against a wall, tall skirting board, fence etc. Perfect for display in a case, on a shelf or in the garden. This item is made from real Oak wood with brass & plastic fittings & finished in Danish oil & is suitable for the outdoors, where it will take on a naturally weathered patina. Whilst the door is suitable for the outdoors, the snow has never been tested in the elements Size approx: (6) 15cm tall x (4) 10cm wide x (2) 5cm deep (the step). ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ SUSTAINABILITY All the wood used in my work is from either sustainable sources or FSC-certified businesses. Round wood such as hazel, ash & cherry is coppiced by myself in a wood I am managing voluntarily as a restoration project for my local authority. I occasionally buy in branch wood from local tree surgeons from small garden jobs. The ash & oak timber I use is mainly from my local timber yard Wentwood Timber, & any American white oak or beech I use is from FSC-certified Mon Timber Supplies. Christmas Themed Oak Wood Fairy Door
