Bring a bit of Halloween magic into your daily routine with this sweet mug! The candy & jack-o-lanterns are sure to brighten your day! This functional piece of art will bring you back to the moment whenever you use it. Holds about 11 ounces of your favorite beverage. I made this mug by hand, using rolled out thin sheets of porcelain. I assembled it & then after cleaning it up, I painted the washy underglaze on the bottom half & let it dry. I then used an underglaze transfer sheet of the candy & jack-o-lanterns & applied each one by hand. After the mug was completely dry, I fired it to 1,828 degrees. I then painted different glazes on: a glossy glaze called Obsidian with other drippy layers on top, & a shiny clear on the bottom half. Finally, it went to its last firing at 2,232 degrees! This mug was made with lots of love, & will brighten up any home!! This piece is food & microwave safe. I recommend hand washing for durability.
