An art deco pewter double candle holder by Just Andersen marked on the underside with the model number 1543. Just Andersen was an internationally-famous Danish decorative sculptor & silversmith well-known for his metal candleholders, vases & figurines. His works are currently very collectable with beautiful designs that are timeless & still look stunning in any modern setting. This candle holder is in good condition for its age showing some wear & a few minor marks & digs. Unfortunately it appears that an attempt to clean this piece has been made in the last 10 or 20 years resulting in an uneven light patina & considerable patchiness with dark & light areas. The candelabrum is being sold as found in an uncleaned state with some remains of candle wax & oxidation. Width/Length = 21.8 cm Base Dimensions = 9.7 x 7.8 cm Height = 15.2 cm (approx.)
