A discounted price for a set of three cyanotype prints. An ideal gift for gardeners, plant lovers & art enthusiasts. Cyanotype prints are real photographs of flowers, using the sun to process paper painted with cyanotype chemical. The print turns a gorgeous Prussian blue, & when washed, leaves behind an x-ray image of the flower. Each one of these prints are made to order, using a selection of flowers found & pressed in Hampton Court, in the UK, during the 2020 lockdown. It's science meets art while painting with sunlight! Each fine grain - heavyweight paper (200g/m^2) is hand cut, hand painted & made fresh to order, they'll differ slightly - but that is the beauty of it! I leave a small white border & try to show a little of the brush strokes for extra interest. The prints can be framed, used as a card or given as a gift.
